NO KINGS:
DEFEND THE VOTE
No Kings: Vote Early on October 17 was a powerful start, but there’s more work to do.
We must ensure that every valid vote is counted, certified, and protected.
The No Kings movement stands ready to mobilize in response to attacks on our elections. By signing the No Kings pledge, you commit to be part of the solution, ready to join mass nonviolent action in rapid response to election disruption and subversion if needed.
Sign the pledge now to host or attend an event in your community if a national rapid response mobilization is called.
What’s Next After 10/17? Election Defense
Following the October 17 No Kings: Vote Early mass day of activations, gather with the No Kings movement online on Wednesday 10/21 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT to talk about the final push for voter turnout, as well as what happens post-election: how we're preparing for election enforcement, how you can start to plan now to be ready to protect the results of the election.
Voting Early Is How We Use Our Power
Voting early means your voice is locked in and safe, days before anyone else can decide what happens next, and it gives you room to fix anything that goes wrong, a signature mismatch, a missing form, waiting in a line that's too long, or not being able to make it if your shift runs late.
No matter what the laws look like where you live, early preparation is universal. Cast your ballot at an early voting site (where available), request and return an absentee ballot, double check your registration, or make it a whole day! However you do it, our goal is to make a clear voting plan, and voting early.
Defending Our Votes
From today through Election Day, No Kings has a dual mission: continuing to drive every eligible voter to cast their ballot, while preparing our nationwide network to rapidly respond to any attempts at election interference.
If officials attempt to obstruct the count or refuse to certify valid results, our movement must be ready to stand together in disciplined, nonviolent community action to defend our elections. This includes you.
Our Commitment to Nonviolence & Nonpartisanship
Nonviolent, people-led movements are the most successful path to real change. Every No Kings event is grounded in that commitment: organizers trained in de-escalation, safety coordinators on site, and actions that are lawful, disciplined, and rooted in the strength of our communities.
