in November. Uh so and he's a strong supporter of our rights. And then in Connecticut, we had told you on this5 minutes, 51 seconds
show about this Republican named Jaden McCormack who was running for a state house seat there in Connecticut. And uh6 minutes
he called for the execution of LGBTQ people, right? And among other outrages against6 minutes, 9 seconds
Catholics
and Jews, he was beaten. They found somebody to run against him at the
last minute and the opponent got 80% 80% of the vote. So, he's gone.6 minutes, 18 seconds

Well, in other words, too much even for Republicans.6 minutes, 23 seconds

the loudest is hiding the most. But Jeremy Moss is not hiding in Michigan. He won the uh6 minutes, 39 seconds
he's out and he won the Democratic nomination for the 11th congressional district in the Democratic primary back6 minutes, 47 seconds
on August 4th. Gotif almost 50% of the vote in a four candidate race. He's he6 minutes, 53 seconds
is the first out LGBTQ state senator in Michigan and he's president prom of the Senate and if he beats the Republican7 minutes, 1 second
he'll
be the first out member of Michigan's congressional delegation. And
then there's Joanne H why right who is victorious in the the7 minutes, 10 seconds
Democratic primary for the uh state house seat would be the first trans woman to hold that seat. Um interesting7 minutes, 21 seconds
uh figure. She comes from a uh interesting background. I believe she uh was a hospital chaplain and a mega7 minutes, 30 seconds

leader. Uh I don't know how I feel about that. Well, she says, "My
Christian faith, family, community supported me as I went back to

and became a spiritual care provider." Well, um, maybe she she's borrowing a page from James Telerico in Texas to use the New7 minutes, 48 seconds

Well, she's definitely pro-LGBTQ, right? You know, as far as we know right now. Uh, you know, I mean, what I'll give you the7 minutes, 58 seconds

quite frequently, right? And that was thrown out. That got shot down by

Uh, so I would say, you know, sadly but predictably, Todd Blanch was confirmed by the US attorney general by one vote.8 minutes, 43 seconds
Bill Cassidy. Well, and Cassidy basically said, "Well, Bill Barr, the former attorney general, also corrupt,8 minutes, 52 seconds
came
to me and said, "If you don't get this guy, you're going to get
somebody even worse." Well, maybe Matt, they'd bring Matt Gates back.

idea for attorney general. But the point is, I don't think it matters

served for his entire term. But he would say to her, you go ahead and

with religious groups was saying, "I'm going to go after abortion in all

in in doing some research on Blanch, just to refresh my own memory as to what has happened over the past couple of10 minutes, 59 seconds

around the country, sending a letter to New York's Attorney General, Leticia James, regarding uh the teen gender care11 minutes, 16 seconds
um in uh December of 2025. 5. He had the11 minutes, 22 seconds

gay rape law for federal prisoners, right?11 minutes, 33 seconds
Where basically they said, "We're not going to deal with this. If you get raped in prison, that's your problem.11 minutes, 39 seconds

and we're not going to do anything to try to help you heal from it." Oh,

He picked a federal judge who was another Trump attorney, horrible right-wing guy, Amal Bove. What a scene12 minutes, 14 seconds

They're just telling you you're not going to get any more justice out of that of the Justice Department.12 minutes, 25 seconds
All right. And then Trump appointed the co-author of Project 2025 as the inspector general of the of the Interior12 minutes, 34 seconds

who was supposed to investigate what happened with Trump's mishandling

there. This guy used Dennis Kirk used to be an aid to Tulsi Gabbard and
a former staffer at the Heritage Foundation. He is subject to Senate12 minutes, 50 seconds
confirmations.
So they're going to ask some questions. But Republicans, as they are
with all these things, are are confirming all these all these horrible12 minutes, 59 seconds
people. And then, you know, Trump's antivax crusade, you know, this this executive order upending uh how13 minutes, 7 seconds
childhood vaccinations are distributed is just sickening and frightening.13 minutes, 14 seconds
One of the more idiotic components of what Trump and the CDC will try to do is13 minutes, 20 seconds
to separate the measles, mumps, and rebella trifecta. So, in other words, Yes. Because because if you put them all13 minutes, 28 seconds

And they don't say that when they report this, right? And the the deal

And then so the Senate did confirm and with with some Democrat votes Dr. Erica Schwarz as the director of the CDC. We15 minutes
haven't had a director of CDC. The first one got fired by Trump uh because RFK Jr. didn't like her. And the so this Dr.15 minutes, 8 seconds
Erica Schwarz who you know has a a a long background in public health and uh you know and you know you can't you15 minutes, 17 seconds

follow but she also said she supports vaccines but then he does this
stuff. Does she say anything like we're not going to follow this?15 minutes, 26 seconds
Right. I mean it's I think there is a package of 17 uh mandated vaccines that most states require and the Trump15 minutes, 34 seconds
administration is trying to get that down to 11. Again, despite the research, despite the trials that prove there is15 minutes, 41 seconds
no connection, Trump and Robert Kennedy Jr. are still insisting that these vaccines called cause autism, which they15 minutes, 50 seconds

Now, we one of the reasons we al we have to worry about Dr. Erica Schwarz at the CDC is that she also called abortion16 minutes, 1 second
surveillance a critical component of the AY's work. you know, states hiding abortions in their states, and she's16 minutes, 10 seconds
going to look into that. So, Planned Parenthood obviously is quite alarmed about that. Uh, and of course, you know,16 minutes, 18 seconds
we learned this week Trump, by the way, has zero regard for who else lives and dies besides himself. No, with the whole16 minutes, 25 seconds
Air Force One caper, you know, where he got off the plane and left his most of his staff and except for Hexath and uh16 minutes, 33 seconds
all of the press corps on a plane that was targeted by Iran. Correct. It's grotesque.16 minutes, 39 seconds
Yeah. and they scooted onto Trump scooted onto a uh nondescript military aircraft which which in in reading these16 minutes, 49 seconds
stories raised the question, how much do all of these trips cost?16 minutes, 53 seconds
What
is it costing the taxpayer to finance this man's what does it cost for
him to play golf? Hopping and sprinting around the world.17 minutes

And I'm not against golf, as you know, but uh he doesn't he it's ridiculous.17 minutes, 9 seconds
And
anyway, uh, by the way, evidence showed this week that federal agents
are using racial slurs during their immigration sweeps. That doesn't

And it's not surprising. And the FCC, the Federal Communications Commission, voted this week to remove the limit on17 minutes, 27 seconds
broadcast TV ownership, which is part of the fascist consolidation of media, particularly in local news, so the17 minutes, 35 seconds

looks more like Hungary under Victor Orban or Russia under Putin,
literally, because there will be no other voices. And you know, the

the FCC years in 2004, you can't have more than 39% ownership coverage,
but now they can, one person can end up owning all these local

So, she lost a lot more of the vote to other candidates. She's now in a
runoff. She's going to a runoff. She's not really expected to win the

my point has always been about these closeted people, is that
especially the elected officials, that's what people want, uh, the

an LGBTQ club in a middle school there uh in King George County and kept21 minutes, 58 seconds
rewriting the rules so that this this they couldn't have a group uh which is you know the federal government they wanted to22 minutes, 6 seconds
allow uh the Republicans wanted to allow prayer groups in schools. So they passed a law uh in in the f you know the first22 minutes, 14 seconds
amendment equal access act and that allowed prayer groups but it also allowed gay straight alliances. So this22 minutes, 21 seconds

you know went to bat for her kid and uh the you know the kid it's kids
not even there anymore. She wants to make sure that in the future they

This is all over uh picture books for kids. No, this is about forming a group for I I know. But then the the the the issue22 minutes, 38 seconds

issue of uh what was also being taught in the schools came up. This

So my question is where are they securing all of the guns in this county?22 minutes, 53 seconds

And they're the same people who go after trans girls in and sports. But do they really care about girls in sports? You23 minutes, 12 seconds

Anyway, we wish uh her luck in the mother in trying to get this group uh going. Um she was recently appointed by23 minutes, 28 seconds
uh Governor's Spanberger in Virginia to the state's LGBTQ uh IIA advisory board.23 minutes, 36 seconds

Anti-trans ballot initiatives are on the ballot in three states in November. And the one in Washington would specifically23 minutes, 48 seconds
bar trans athletes from participating on girls teams. And it it it inquires all kinds of genetic screening and if23 minutes, 56 seconds
necessary an examination of their reproductive anatomy at a yearly sports physical. So they're going to be able to24 minutes, 4 seconds
peek at your daughter's crotch, you know, to find out, are you a real girl? I mean, this is so invasive.24 minutes, 12 seconds
It's a boondoggle for predators.24 minutes, 14 seconds
It's unbelievable. Yeah. Right. And and this is they're basically again enabling these GOP fascists to disrobe your children.24 minutes, 24 seconds
Right. And uh uh of course the Supreme Court said, "Ah, this is fine. You can ban you can ban trans girls from24 minutes, 32 seconds
transports." The other ballot initiatives in addition to Washington or Arizona and Colorado uh that they will24 minutes, 38 seconds
be weighing in in November. Um, oh, by the way, this is all this is24 minutes, 47 seconds

in Washington state by a guy named Brian Haywood. He's a right-wing
hedge fund manager. He's got a lot of money and he wants to hurt

this is his way of doing it. Put it on the ballot. Bring out our vote,

the other hand, Representative Seth Molton of a Democrat of Massachusetts who's trying to run for Senate, right?25 minutes, 13 seconds
Uh he semiapologized for calling for Democrats to rethink support for trans athletes. He was trying to act like I'm25 minutes, 20 seconds

of these practical Democrats and we got to get away from this thing.
And so now he says to the trans community feeling the weight and pain of

administration policies, "I deeply recognize your trauma and I'm sorry if my comments hurt you." Why not just say25 minutes, 37 seconds
you're sorry, Seth? So when somebody says, "I'm sorry if it bothered you. I'm sorry if it offended you." No, no, no.25 minutes, 45 seconds
