Trump really wants out of his war … and don’t call it a war

President Donald Trump’s war in the Middle East has rapidly turned into a quagmire, and his attempts to extricate himself (and us) have failed. Having blown past the 60-day threshold requiring congressional approval for his war, Trump and friends are pretending the U.S. is not at war—at least for the moment.
And it was all on video.
Trump acing cognitive tests is not the flex he thinks it is
It seems like Trump may have recently taken one of his favorite cognitive tests. Speaking at a White House event, he bragged about being the only president to ever have to take a cognitive test and have the tenacity to distinguish between an alligator and a squirrel.
Hegseth: What war?
Nearly a month after Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth declared that America had achieved victory against Iran, the two nations continue to fire on each other. And during a press conference, he insisted that ongoing warfare is not war.
